Jackie Sheeler's work has appeared in Long Shot, Rattapallax, Medicinal Purposes, Slant, New York Press and many other journals. She was just awarded the Magellan Prize from Buttonwood Press, which published her first full-length book of poetry in February 2002. Her latest project, an anthology of poems Off the Cuffs, has been published by Soft Skull Press. She curates the popular weekly Pink Pony West Poetry Reading Series in NYC, which draws a standing-room-only crowd almost every Friday night.
Jackie is publisher and producer of the Poetz website and its associated monthly poetry newsletter (circulation 10,000) and a frequent featured performer at venues through the NYC area.
